ABOUT THE AREA
Selsey is a lovely town situated on the South-Coast of England. It is very close to Brighton, Chichester, Portsmouth and Littlehampton. Selsey also has some of the nicest and cleanest beaches in the whole of the UK.
Selsey is a good base to visit some of the best attractions in the UK, including:
> Goodwood Racecourse and Country House
> Uppark House and Petworth
> Portsmouth and Southsea with Museums, Sealife Centre and D Day Exhibition
> Weald and Downland Museum
> Fishbourne Roman Palace
> Chichester and Chichester Harbour
> Arundel
> Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve
Chichester is just a short drive from the chalet and has all the amenities you would expect of a large town, including: bowling alley, cinema, train station, cathedral, shops and much more.
Selsey also has a small town centre which has a number of useful facilities and shops including: a Post Office, restaurants, cafes, bakers, clothes shops, newsagents, pharmacies, supermarkets and banks.
Each August the Selsey Festival comes to town! There are a large number of events including: a fun fair, a carnival, a lifeboat day and a large fireworks display.
